1 cup of flour
1 cup of oats
1 cup of brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup of vegan butter or margarine
4 cups of apples, cored and thinly sliced
Dairy-free ice cream (optional)
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Add flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and butter to a large mixing bowl and stir well. Set aside half in another bowl - you'll be using this for the crumble. Now add your apples to the remaining mixture and stir until apple slices are well coated.
Grease your pan with margarine or line with parchment paper to prevent from sticking. Spread your apple mixture evenly on the bottom, then pour the crumble mixture on top and pat down with a spatula.
Bake for 35 - 40 minutes until the top is golden brown. Set aside to cool. Option to serve with dairy-free ice cream.
