Two Bite Brownies

20 minutes | 12 brownies

These classic chocolate brownies are only made better by being perfectly bite sized.

  • 2 Tbsp ground flax meal

  • 6 Tbsp water

  • 1 cup of flour

  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder

  • 1/2 cup vegan margarine

  • 2/3 cup vegan chocolate chips

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract



  1. Make your "flax egg" by mixing together flax meal and water and set aside for 5 minutes to thicken.

  2. In a large bowl, add flour and cocoa powder and stir to combine well.

  3. Put your margarine in a large, microwave-safe bowl and warm for 30 seconds until melted. Then add 1/3 cup of chocolate chips, sugar and vanilla.

  4. Add this to the flour and cocoa mixture. Also add in the flax mixture, another 1/3 cup of vegan chocolate chips. Mix until combined.

  5. Grease your pans and add batter to each mini muffin tin. These will expand a little, so don't fill the cups up fully. Option to just spread the dough onto a 9" x 9" baking sheet.

  6. Once the cauliflower is out of the oven, bake your brownies at 350F for 13 minutes.
